Veteran Idol Proves Their Lasting Popularity By Selling Out A Concert In 1 Minute
When it comes to selling out concerts, popular third-generation K-Pop groups like TWICE can sell out an entire Japanese dome tour in a single minute.
Second-generation groups like INFINITE can do the same, with Dongwoo selling out tickets in a minute, even during solo promotions. They’re not the only ones, either.
While some celebrities experience a drop in popularity that can make them fall short of selling out a concert, that’s not the case for an f(x) member.
Despite f(x) not being active as a group since 2016 and a reunion in 2019, Amber Liu revealed that she was amazed to kick off her new tour by selling out her Beijing concert in “sixty seconds.” The host of the Zach Sang Show was just as surprised by her accomplishment.
Making the news more impressive, Amber revealed how many other fans were waiting for a chance to attend. She added, “Apparently, there’s still five thousand people in the waiting line.”
While Amber has been doing many promotions in China, newer fans aren’t the only ones supporting her. She revealed that many of her fans had been with her for fourteen years—all the way from f(x)’s debut.
Despite leaving the K-Pop industry to branch out as a singer, Amber remains popular—even among fans who have been there from the start.
