G-Dragon collaborates with Seoul Museum of Art for “PEACEMINUSONE” exhibition
BIGBANG’s G-Dragon is reported to have collaborated with the Seoul Museum of Art for an upcoming exhibition.
According to YG Entertainment, G-Dragon will be holding the exhibition titled PEACEMINUSONE: Beyond the Stage in collaboration with the Seoul Museum of Art.
The exhibition will display the singer’s musical influences as he paves the way for pop culture in conjunction with fashion, style and more. Through the event, G-Dragon will be able to promote contemporary art to varied number of audiences through familiar themes and materials.
Aside from G-Dragon, twelve contemporary artists from all over the world were also invited to the event, including Michael Scoggins, Sophie Clemets, James Clar and more.
PEACEMINUSONE, the exhibition’s title, is described to be G-Dragon’s own view of peace, further describing it as a minus point of reality. Aside from Seoul, South Korea, the exhibition will also be held in Shanghai, Singapore and more as they display modern art pieces through photography, installations, sculptures and more.
The event was organised by Airbnb to create new cultural content, breaking down cultural barriers through this global exhibition. It will start running from June 9th to August 23rd.
