“Garo Sero Research Institute” Reporter Allegedly Kicked Out Of Kim Soo Hyun’s Press Conference

On March 31, KST, actor Kim Soo Hyun held a press conference to address the ongoing controversy involving his relationship with Kim Sae Ron.

Reporter-turned-YouTuber Kim Se Ui, who operates the channel Garo Sero Research Institute (Garo Sero hereon) was also present at the venue. Garo Sero has been at the forefront of this controversy as the accusations against Kim Soo Hyun were first made public by the channel after the bereaved family failed to get any other media outlet to cover their concerns.

On the morning of the press conference, Kim Se Ui posted a video on their official YouTube channel titled “[On-site Dispatch] Sex Offender Kim Soo Hyun Press Conference,” hinting that they would attend the event scheduled for 4:30 PM at the Stanford Hotel in Seoul. He ended up getting to the venue just in time and started a live broadcast from there.
The broadcast showed Kim entering the conference hall and even captured the moment when Kim Soo Hyun entered. However, about ten minutes into the livestream, Kim was reportedly stopped by the event organizers and security, leading to his immediate departure from the venue. The live broadcast abruptly froze after Kim left, but he resumed streaming from outside the venue without any additional commentary.
Garo Sero‘s broadcast had attracted nearly 30,000 viewers.
Meanwhile, the Garo Sero YouTube channel has started a follow-up live stream that will address Kim Soo Hyun’s claims during the press conference.
