While the concept may be hard to grasp for some, these groups have become widely popular globally and may someday become the mainstream in the K-Pop market.

In a recent episode of BIGBANG G-Dragon‘s new series, Good Day, he mentions the virtual idol group PLAVE.

Staff: Who would you like to work with for the ‘Good Day’ project?

G-Dragon: I heard about PLAVE, but I didn’t understand the concept. I found out that they were a virtual group they were always at the top of the charts. I think it would be fun to be in the same space as them.

After hearing this, PLAVE’s Yejun shared his excitement on Bubble.

I actually sent you guys a message on Bubble while watching TV after my chores. I thought the TV was pranking me. G-Dragon mentioned us on his show. I have so much to say about this, but I’ll discuss it in next week’s broadcast. I’ll talk about everything on the broadcast about what we talked about in our group chat. I’m really so so happy.

Fans are now hoping for a collab between G-Dragon and PLAVE!

Meanwhile, comedian and TV personality Kim Shin Young also went viral online for mentioning PLAVE during a broadcast.
