GFRIEND Sowon's Father Has Just Passed Away

GFRIEND‘s Sowon will be temporarily absent from promotions due to her father’s recent passing.

On June 22, Sowon’s father passed away from a chronic illness.

According to a statement by Source Music, the funeral will be held privately with Sowon’s close friends and family.

The agency stated that Sowon will not be taking part in GFRIEND’s planned schedule during this time of mourning. They have asked fans to send Sowon support and encouragement, while also respecting her privacy.

Fans have expressed their sincere condolences via Twitter, and ask Sowon to take as much time to grieve as she needs.
