(G)I-DLE’s Soyeon Wants To Live In Philadelphia For An Unexpected Reason, But There’s One Problem
(G)I-DLE recently sat down for a fun interview with Buzzfeed Celeb to celebrate the upcoming release of their English language EP Heat, which is scheduled to drop on October 6 (KST).
For the unique interview, the group was tasked with answering 30 questions as quickly as possible, leading to hilarious chaos while showing off their fun group dynamic.
During the interview, the (G)I-DLE members were asked, “If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?”
After clarifying that the answer needed to be a location outside of Korea, the members gave their answers.
Minnie chose Switzerland, Yuqi chose Los Angeles, Shuhua would like to live “somewhere really cold,” like the Arctic, while Miyeon stated she would like to live in outer space.
Leader Soyeon was the first to answer the question, quickly responding that she would like to live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The production staff hilariously paused before the next question to ask Soyeon why she chose Philadelphia.
Soyeon explained her pick, saying it was because she likes cream cheese, and her friend said it was “nice there.”
Soyeon’s unexpected response and reasoning quickly earned attention from netizens, with a TikTok of the moment gaining over 77,000 views in less than 24 hours.
