(G)I-DLE’s Soyeon Confesses That She Plans To Get A Popular Cosmetic Surgery

(G)I-DLE’s Soyeon recently confessed about wanting to get cosmetic surgery.

On December 18, KST, Soyeon appeared in a YouTube video series called YONGTAROT where she consulted comedian Lee Yong Jin for a tarot reading.

The very first question she asked during the reading was about this cosmetic procedure. The (G)I-DLE leader asked, “When should I get double eyelid surgery?” When Lee asked why she felt the need to get it done, Soyeon responded, implying she saw it as inevitable.

The rapper explained that while she has been using double eyelid tape as part of her makeup routine, she didn’t always need it. “As you get older, things start to sag bit by bit,” she added, pointing out the reason why she started using eyelid tape in the first place.

“So people kept saying, ‘If you keep this up, you’ll need to do it later’,” Soyeon elaborated. However, she also explained why she hadn’t gotten it done yet despite considering it for a long time. “I should just get double eyelid surgery done quickly, but I’m too scared to go through with it,” confessed the idol.

As Lee Yong Jin spread out three tarot cards on the table, he started interpreting their message in the context of Soyeon’s surgery and correctly guessed that she had been debating about getting it done for a long time. She exclaimed, agreeing, “For four years!”

The comedian finally suggested that Soyeon should get the surgery done in early 2025, stating, “After all the busy stuff ends, if you do it early next year, it’ll be a turning point for you.” The idol agreed again, revealing that she had been planning to get it done around that time.

Funnily enough, Soyeon’s strong belief in the tarot reading caught Lee completely off guard. He joked, “She really likes this too much. This isn’t good,” making her break into a cackle.
