(G)I-DLE’s Yuqi Is Going Viral After A Serious NSFW Mistranslation — Even The Idol Was Shook
(G)I-DLE‘s Yuqi was a victim of auto-translate after her heartwarming message turned surprisingly NSFW!
Yuqi always loves updating fans with what she’s doing, whether it’s through Instagram, Weibo, or the social media platform Bubble. On February 19, Yuqi went onto Bubble to share an update with fans about being with her parents. Yet, when international fans used the auto-translate function, the translation couldn’t have been more wrong.
While the first sentence seemed fine, showcasing the idol’s emotions, the second sentence seemed very wrong in the context.
Yet, the actual translation of the message Yuqi wanted to portray was definitely not meant to be NSFW. The real message was heartfelt, showcasing the time she spent with her parents and the emotions she felt.
I’m going to cry for 10 minutes and then start packing. I should have packed yesterday but I didn’t want to do it when my parents were there so I decided to do it after they left.
— Yuqi
Fans noticed the hilarious mistranslation and went straight to Yuqi to share what had happened. Unsurprisingly, Yuqi was equally shocked as she wanted to know what happened to the translation and then the realization that the meaning had been translated as something very different.
When the messages were sent, netizens couldn’t get over Yuqi’s troubles with the translator.

While the mistranslation was funny, the fact that Yuqi noticed was even funnier.
