Recently, tripleS announced that their new digital release would see profits go to a women’s support program.

When the tweet was shared, international fans couldn’t stop sharing their praise towards the group and Modhaus for using “K-Pop capitalism” for good causes.

Sadly, it seems like the announcement also gained a lot of negative responses, and some of them started to gain attention on theqoo. In particular, the post shared that many of the negative comments seemed to come from male netizens and it seemed even more prominent considering the recent issues, including that of the “New Nth Room.”

This is so wrong. Anyone can see that the intention behind it is suspicious.

Regarding women’s support – it was written in the fine print that most of it goes to a certain feminist group, and it turns out to be true. This isn’t right. Sigh.

  • “They should disclose more detailed information about the women’s support program.”
  • “It’s a donation, so wouldn’t it be okay to at least say which organization it’s going to? LOL.”
  • “At a time when male-female equality is such a sensitive issue, they’re funding a women’s support program. Wouldn’t it be better to support things like elderly people living alone or underprivileged youth?”
  • “Ugh, LOL.”

Is this for real??? Almost 80% of the fandom is male, and they’re donating to a women’s support program??? Are they out of their minds? They haven’t even done a single performance for the military.
