Girl’s Day’s Hyeri Reunites With “Reply 1988” Co-Star Go Kyung Pyo, And Her Message To Him Was The Sweetest Thing Ever
The Ssangmungdong squad is still together! Reply 1988 may have aired back in 2015, but it’s still a hit K-Drama until today. Girl’s Day‘s Hyeri took on the role of Sung Deok Seon, the only girl in a group of five neighborhood friends. She acted alongside Park Bo Gum (Choi Taek), Ryu Jun Yeol (Kim Jung Hwan), Go Kyung Pyo (Sung Sun Woo), and Lee Dong Hwi (Ryu Dong Ryong).
On July 7, Hyeri posted a much-awaited update of their friendship on her Instagram account. She was seen posing with Go Kyung Pyo in casual attire, wearing a brown leather jacket next to his black one.
They were obviously comfortable with one another, with an addition of an uber-cute picture of Go Kyung Pyo looking down at her sweetly. She captioned it with a friendly “I love you” and words of praise directed at him.
Go Kyung Pyo oppa is the best~~~ I love you Go Kyung Pyo.
— Hyeri
The man in question made a cameo appearance in My Roommate is a Gumiho, the K-Drama that Hyeri is currently starring in. She made sure to thank him sincerely for his participation in the show.
He played a very important role perfectly. Thank you. Today is also ‘My Roommate is a Gumiho.’

Go Kyung Pyo played the role of a mountain god who is the keeper of secrets surrounding the mythical marble that Lee Dam (Hyeri’s character) swallowed in the beginning of the K-Drama.
This is not the first time Hyeri reunited with her Reply 1988 castmates. She posted a photo with Park Bo Gum last October 2020 as she had a cameo appearance in his show with Park So Dam, Record of Youth.
We love the friendship of the Reply 1988 cast!
