Girls’ Generation‘s Sooyoung Pays Homage To K-Drama "Twenty Five Twenty One" On Instagram

All anyone can talk about right now is tvN‘s K-Drama Twenty Five Twenty One, which is also streamed on Netflix simultaneously. The drama follows student fencer Na Hee Do (Kim Tae Ri) and former chaebol heir-turned reporter Baek Yi Jin (also romanized as Back Yi Jin), played by Nam Joo Hyuk.

Even fellow K-Drama stars are obsessed with it. Recently, Girls’ Generation‘s Sooyoung (also known as Choi Soo Young) shared a post referencing Twenty Five Twenty One.

Sooyoung herself has starred in several memorable dramas. Last year, she appeared as CEO of a sports agency, Seo Dan A, in JTBC‘s Run On.

Despite being a K-Drama star herself, she made reference to the currently running drama Twenty Five Twenty One in her latest Instagram Stories.

The actress has been filming the new K-Drama Tell Me Your Wish. She shared some of her travels while filming in Mokpo.

One of her last posts to Instagram Stories was a photo of herself posing in a telephone booth. Twenty Five Twenty One fans would understand the significance of the caption, especially in its context.

In Twenty Five Twenty One, Na Hee Do is a big fan of manhwa Full House, and Baek Yi Jin worked at the comic store she rented from. So, when he leaves to visit family, they communicate via payphone, and he mentions Full House, knowing how much she loves it and promises to return before the next volume is released.
