Girls’ Generation Seohyun’s Message Speculated To Be About Actor Kim Jung Hyun’s Speech
Girls’ Generation member and actress Seohyun‘s latest message sent to her fans on the communication app Bubble is now speculated to be about her former Time co-star Kim Jung Hyun‘s “2024 KBS Drama Award” acceptance speech.
On January 12, 2025 (KST), Seohyun wrote to her fans, “The kind-hearted person always wins.”

Given when it was sent, though, right after the broadcast of the “2024 KBS Drama Awards,” fans interpreted the message to be a response to actor Kim Jung Hyun’s hotly-debated acceptance speech.

Kim Jung Hyun’s controversial behavior toward Seohyun dates back to July 2018. During the press conference for MBC K-Drama Time, Kim Jung Hyun refused to link arms with Seohyun—and his aloof demeanor throughout the conference created an uncomfortable atmosphere for all. At the time, Kim Jung Hyun’s agency explained that it was because Kim Jung Hyun was too deeply immersed in playing a terminally-ill character.
Later, though, Dispatch dropped a bombshell report revealing that Kim Jung Hyun’s ex-girlfriend and actress Seo Ye Ji was the reason behind the aloofness.
While it is impossible to know the exact intention behind Seohyun’s message, fans are praising the idol-turned-actress’s classy reaction.
