Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun Spotted Hosting “2024 KBS Drama Awards” While Limping With A Cane
On December 31, the 2024 KBS Drama Awards were held at the KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul. Though the event was supposed to be broadcast live, the decision was changed last minute to mourn the victims of the Jeju air disaster on December 29. Instead, the award ceremony was turned into a pre-recorded format, and the revised schedule will be announced later.
Fans who attended the ceremony were able to capture a few moments, one of which was a clip of Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun waving at the audience in between her MC duties. She hosted the event with co-hosts Jang Sung Kyu and Moon Sang Min.
The idol-actress left fans stunned in a long white dress that enhanced her visuals only further. However, she was also seen carrying a cane to support herself, raising concerns. She was limping while moving between stages, but despite her visible discomfort, she finished hosting the event flawlessly.

According to a report by OSEN from January 1, KST, Seohyun recently injured herself while filming the KBS2 drama The First Night With The Duke with 2PM‘s Taecyeon. Her representative confirmed this with the media outlet, adding that she was undergoing treatment. At this moment, her filming schedules have been paused to prioritize her recovery, but she is expected to rejoin soon.
While her injury has concerned fans, they were also extremely inspired by her professionalism despite it.
