Previously, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon revealed that she would not attend the SM Town Live in Seoul concert as she was not on good terms with the company.
However, the company belatedly announced the news to fans, causing much criticism from fans.

Most recently, Taeyeon took to the fandom app Bubble to clear up any confusion on the matter.
“I wanted to make a grand stage and was motivated to prepare two or three songs. I told the company and waited…but to sum it up, they didn’t prepare anything so I ended up not being able to do anything.
It’s not because I wasn’t motivated or didn’t want to do it…I just wanted to do my best as I am genuine regarding my performance…but they did not help me, so I am seriously thinking about what has happened here. I am writing this here so that there are no misunderstandings with SONEs.”
