Girls’ Generation’s Yoona And Lee Jong Suk Confirmed To Star In Upcoming Legal K-Drama
Girls’ Generation‘s Yoona and Lee Jong Suk have been confirmed to star in upcoming tvN legal K-Drama Big Mouse.
According to tvN’s press release, Yoona and Lee Jong Suk will be the lead roles in Big Mouse, which will be written by Vagabond writers Jang Young Chul and Jung Kyung Soon and produced by Hotel Del Luna‘s Oh Choong Hwan. Big Mouth is a legal drama that tells the story of a murder case, and a third-rate lawyer who only has a 10 percent chance of winning the case. Bizarre things happen during the case after the truth is revealed, and a decision must be made: should a person become evil and protect their family, or solely protect themselves in a world full of conspiracy and desire.
Yoona will play the role of Go Mi Ho, the wife of lawyer Park Chang Ho (played by Lee Jong Suk). Go Mi Ho is a nurse and an attractive woman with outstanding beauty and confidence who made Park Chang Ho into the lawyer he is. Since she was in university, her elegance was enough to have her take on modelling jobs, but then she became a person who would curse a lot and her actions became too brazen, sometimes embarrassing herself. She works hard to try to clear the rumors that Park Chang Ho is a con artist.
Lee Jong Suk will play the role of Park Chang Ho, the show’s main character. From humble beginnings, he ends up becoming a third-rate lawyer who only has a 10 percent chance of winning a case. He can’t even afford to keep up with paying the rent for his office or his office manager, who is also his father in law. Others in the profession say he is all talk, no action, and can’t back up his words, leading him to be called a con artist.
Big Mouse is currently casting for the rest of their roles, and filming is expected to begin later this year. The K-Drama will be broadcast in 2022.
