Lee Do Hyun‘s comments about Song Hye Kyo and Lim Ji Yeon‘s slap scene resurfaces amid the news of the actor’s relationship with Lim Ji Yeon.
In a recent clip released by Netflix Korea, actors from the hit K-Drama, The Glory, gathered to share what it was like behind the scenes of the show’s most important scenes.
One of the scenes that Lee Do Hyun, Song Hye Kyo, and Lim Ji Yeon watched together in the clip is a scene in which Song Hye Kyo slaps Lim Ji Yeon. In the scene, Moon Dong Eun (played by Song Hye Kyo) slaps Park Yeon Jin (played by Lim Ji Yeo) while stating, “You should take off your shoes when entering someone else’s home!”
Lee Do Hyun, after watching the scene, turned to Song Hye Kyo and asked, “Did you really slap her?” to which Song Hye Kyo answered, “No, if I did, then I would be in big trouble.” Lee Do Hyun, visibly shaken, then states, “I thought it was real.”
Lim Ji Yeon, who played Park Yeon Jin, stated that “It’s weird watching myself without getting ready for it,” and explained the importance of the scene. Lee Do Hyun, who sat next to Lim Ji Yeon, still seemed shaken by the scene, to which Lim Ji Yeon responded by laughing shyly.
