Actor Go Kyung Pyo Leverages Controversy Surrounding Alleged NSFW Photos To Boost Project Visibility

He called the rumors “crazy.”

Previously, K-Drama actor Go Kyung Pyo (also romanized as Ko Kyoung Pyo) was accused of taking explicit photographs at a photo booth located in Seomyeon, Busan. Additionally, it was alleged he had paid a substantial amount of money to settle the matter. Unfortunately, these allegations went viral, and Go Kyung Pyo quickly addressed the matter.

On January 7, Go Kyung Pyo took to Instagram to address the defamatory rumors directly. He reassured his fans through an Instagram story that the allegations were baseless and “crazy.” He included innocent pictures of himself at a photo booth, proving he doesn’t take such NSFW photos.

Don’t worry, I’m not crazy like that. Let’s see what happens to lunatics.

I’ve caught some public attention for something completely unrelated, so I’d like to share some good news while I have this opportunity. It would be a shame to miss out on this kind of interest 🤔
(Crisis as an opportunity, and opportunity as an opportunity)

The first feature film ‘Lee Hee Mi’, produced by my film production company ‘Philmur’, has completed its filming. Now, after editing and various attempts, I hope to meet you all in theaters. I’ll prepare it well!

And, I’m currently filming two fixed variety shows for those who love and support me. Some of you might already know the program titles, but I hope it will be a surprise later on. I’ll make sure to participate in a fun and enjoyable way!!

Also!
I’m planning a busking event with some amazing singers in February, so I hope you’re looking forward to it.

There’s so much exciting news, right? ❤️

But, I’ve also had to deal with disturbing rumors that have been fabricated and spread as if they were true, which has been frustrating.
Although the internet culture is deteriorating day by day, experiencing how something completely false can be turned into a reality makes me worried for those who will face similar harm in the future.
Still, I’m touched that many of you have accepted things with common sense and remained unshaken.
I’ll make sure to sort everything out and leave behind a fair example, while also responding firmly to those who willingly act below human decency.

Wishing you all a happy New Year, full of health and happiness.

Still, he expressed his frustrations over the recent rumors. He worried for those who also become victims of false allegations that could potentially harm them.

Go Kyung Pyo’s agency, CL& Company, previously released a statement. His agency explained that the rumors were unfounded and reckless. CL& Company promised to take legal action, as such allegations damage their artist’s character.

False information about our artist Go Kyung Pyo has been recklessly spread and reproduced online and on social media recently. This constitutes a serious criminal act that damages the artist’s honor and dignity. We are actively monitoring the situation and will pursue strong legal action against the malicious slander, the dissemination of baseless rumors, and their reproduction or expansion.
