Gong Hyo Jin Begs a Fan Account to Stop Posting Old Videos of Her
When a fan account uploaded a video from Gong Hyo Jin’s 2003 drama, Sang Doo! Let’s Go to School, Gong Hyo Jin pleaded for the fan to stop posting such old content of her.
I’m begging you. Can you please stop posting clips from my old dramas? Please.

But once the post stirred up controversy online, Gong Hyo Jin took to her official Instagram account to explain her actions.
The post reads as follows:
I didn’t make that comment with that kind of intent. First of all, I’m sorry to the owner of the account as well as all of those who were hurt. I cherish every single one of my works, as well as everyone who shower them with love. I was just embarrassed about my amateur acting from a long time ago. I hope you don’t misunderstand. So please stop being mad. Please.

And in response, the owner of the account apologized to Gong Hyo Jin for causing the controversy in the first place.
Ms. Gong Hyo Jin, whom I love! First of all, I’m really sorry. I’m very hurt and sorry to think that my account caused many issues that escalated to this extent. I understood your comment without any misunderstanding, and I decided to cheer you on in a way that you’d like more. And when I temporarily closed my account, I did it hoping that the misunderstanding wouldn’t spread further. I’m saying this because I think other fans misunderstood. I’m a huge fan of yours, and I’ll cheer you on until you win awards even after 20 years or 40 years. I’d like to once again apologize for the inconvenience caused to you and fans.
