Gong Seung Yeon Reveals It Was Hard To See Her Sister TWICE’s Jeongyeon Struggle With Anxiety
Actress Gong Seung Yeon recently talked about her younger sister, TWICE‘s Jeongyeon!
Gong Seung Yeon recently held an interview for the upcoming film release of Aloners. The film centers around Jin Ah (played by Gong Seung Yeon), a credit card company call center employee, who shuns interacting with families, neighbors, and co-workers and prefers to be alone, until a certain incident pushes her out of her isolation and makes her yearn for the company of others.
During the interview, she received the question of if there was someone in her real life that caused an emotional change, just like in the movie, and she revealed that anything related to her family affects her the most.
Things about family hurt the most and I am the most affected by it.

For this question, she also talked about her sister, TWICE’s Jeongyeon. Jeongyeon took a hiatus from promotions last October due to anxiety, and Gong Seung Yeon revealed how concerned she was about her sister’s health.
Recently, my younger sister was suffering from mental health and it was very difficult for me too. I was careful not to show that I was having a hard time in front of her. For a while, I let her know, “It’s ok and I will always be strong right next to you”.
I think it’s right to be most attached to your family and to live for them.

Gong Seung Yeon is such a caring older sister who greatly supports Jeongyeon!
