Set in the 1960s and 1970s, Slowly and Intensely delves into the world of broadcasting, exploring the lives of celebrities and the individuals who shape their careers. This marks Song Hye Kyo’s third collaboration with Noh Hee Kyung, following their successful partnerships on Worlds Within and That Winter, The Wind Blows.
Song Hye Kyo has made headlines for her dramatic transformation ahead of the series, sporting a chic short haircut to embody her character. In a recent appearance on Jung Jae Hyung’s YouTube channel she explained, “I cut my hair for my next project. It’s a period piece written by Noh Hee Kyung, set in the 60s and 70s.”
The actress also recently shared insight into her close bond with the writer during an appearance on tvN‘s You Quiz on the Block. Reflecting on advice she received, Song Hye Kyo revealed that she began keeping a gratitude journal twice daily for the past five years. Her deep connection with Noh Hee Kyung has only heightened expectations for their latest collaboration.
