Actor Gong Yoo Named As A New Chanel Ambassador

Actor Gong Yoo of Goblin fame has been announced as the new ambassador for Chanel. He will be the face of Chanel Korea, for watches and fine jewelry.

His new position was announced through an exclusive photoshoot with Elle Magazine Korea for the May publication. He showed off the iconic Chanel watch, J12. This is his first-ever shoot with the brand. Gong Yoo shared that he was thrilled to be working with the House of Chanel, and believes that it is an iconic brand with a rich history, that also simultaneously has modern elements to it. He is highly anticipating future activities with the brand.

Gong Yoo is an appropriate choice given his luxurious image and mature age. Coincidentally, his co-star from Goblin, Kim Go Eun, is also active as a Chanel ambassador.
