Goo Hara's Ex-Boyfriend Explains Sex-Tape Accusations In New Camera Interview

Goo Hara‘s ex-boyfriend went in front of the camera to tell his side of the story regarding accusations that he threatened Goo Hara with a sex tape.

The boyfriend explained that he decided to do this interview to fight against the accusations.

“I didn’t say anything at first because I thought it was an unfortunate situation. But now I feel like I’ll be put in a bad light if I remain quiet.

I wonder why this situation had to come this far, but it’s come to a point where I have to say what I need to say.”

He first clarified that he didn’t send Goo Hara the video as a form of threat but as a way of closure. He claims that he didn’t want the video in the first place, so he sent the video to Goo Hara who was the one that filmed it.

“The reason why I sent her the video was because I didn’t want to film it in the first place. I didn’t film it, Goo Hara filmed it on the phone that I brought with me. We were ending our relationship so there was no reason to keep it, so I sent it to her as a way of closure.”

Goo Hara’s friend says otherwise. She doubts that the ex-boyfriend really meant no threat by the video but that he was actually sending it as a form of blackmail.

“Would someone really send the video just to find closure? It’s a threat. It’s a threat saying, ‘I have this video so be careful. I don’t know where I’m going to leak this.’”

The ex-boyfriend also claimed that he wasn’t actually going to go through with leaking the video to Dispatch. He was only acting out of anger and eventually realized that it was the wrong thing to do.

“After seeing how numb she was after looking at the scratches on my face, my frustrated emotions riled up. I wondered, ‘How could you do this? How could you do this to someone’s face…?’ That’s why I did what I did.

At the time, I was too emotional so I said those things, but if I were really going to expose it [to Dispatch], I could have attached the files with my initial report.

I just wanted her to feel something so I wrote those reports, but I came to realize that it wasn’t the right thing to do so I called the police instead.”

Goo Hara’s rooommate countered that just the fact that he sent the reports to Dispatch was enough to traumatize someone.

“I heard that he sent Goo Hara photos and videos and that he was going to expose it to the media.

You don’t know how that video is going to be used. Even I was scared of his messages. How do you think Goo Hara felt? She’s a first party involved.”

The interview also released footage from the elevator CCTV, which showed Goo Hara and her ex-boyfriend fighting that night.
