OG K-Pop fans will be familiar with the legendary “reality” program, We Got Married.
The marriage simulation show pit celebrity “couples” together. The show revolved around the make-believe celebrity couples who would act as if they were married in real life.
The show was nothing short of a sensation when it first aired in 2008. The show produced memorable couples such as Red Velvet‘s Joy and BTOB‘s Yook Sungjae, and rapper Crown J and Former Jewelry member Seo In Young.
Despite a hardcore set of fans, the show came to an end in 2017.
Nostalgic fans of the show may rejoice, however, as it has been reported that a couple from the show will be reunited, albeit on another simulation show.
On the August 29 episode of tvN STORY‘s Woontan Godo Village Hotel, T-ARA‘s Eunjung (also known as Hahm Eun Jung) will be a special guest. Her appearance marks the first time in 10 years that she will be featured on a variety show with actor Lee Jang Woo.
tvN STORY‘s Woontan Godo Village Hotel is a new variety show starring actors Lee Jang Woo, Um Hong Gil, and Jeong Bo Seok as they try their hands at running a bed & breakfast in rural Korea.
Both Eunjung and Lee Jang Woo appeared on We Got Married together as a couple from 2011-2012. The couple made headlines when it appeared that Eunjung had kissed Lee Jang Woo on the lips for their one-year anniversary.
According to reports, the two were inseparable during filming and still boasted amazing chemistry. Fans of We Got Married should definitely check this week’s episode out. Check out the trailer for the episode below.
