GOT7’s BamBam Invites A Very Special Guest To Perform With Him At The 2022 K-Pop Masterz Festival In Manila
GOT7‘s BamBam was in Manila for their 2022 K-Pop Masterz Festival, along with fellow bandmate Jackson Wang and TREASURE, and as always, he lit up the stage.

BamBam also performed a cover of the Filipino song, “Ngiti,” which was the same song he sang during a GOT7 fanmeet in the Philippines years ago. The sentiment that poured out from both BamBam and the crowd united everyone in the building.
He's singing NGITI!!! THANK YOU BAMBAM!!!!

He didn’t forget to get Ahgases to do the GOT7 fanchant at the end of his “Ribbon” performance, proving that he carries the members with him in his heart wherever he goes.

But while BamBam could only bring GOT7 with him in spirit, he was able to bring a very special guest on stage: 2NE1‘s Dara (also known as Sandara Park).
Grabe~!!! 😱 What a totally unexpected day todayyy~!!! Came here to support my dear brother @bambam1a and I ended up performing on stage 🤣 nag enjoy ba kayo?! Sana nag enjoy kayo!!! Thank you Bambam~!!! 😀🙏🏻 pic.twitter.com/rRHb9XtoH5

Dara has deep ties with the Philippines, having first risen to fame as an actress and a singer in the Philippines before returning to South Korea and debuting with 2NE1. While 2NE1 reunited at Coachella, it’s been a long time since Dara has been on the stage, and as soon as BamBam invited her up, she started singing “I Don’t Care.” 2NE1 won a daesang in their rookie year with this song, so Dara choosing to sing it brought back waves of nostalgia for all K-Pop fans.

BamBam and Dara also shared some cute moments when Dara joined BamBam on stage for the second verse of “Ribbon” and when they shouted “Shot Puno” (Filipino slang usually used in drinking sessions) together.

Afterward, Dara couldn’t help but express deep gratitude and joy toward BamBam for inviting her to perform with him on stage, and the memories he let the fans and Dara create will be forever cherished. She was so excited she even spoke to him in Tagalog, forgetting that while BamBam is fluent in three languages, Tagalong isn’t one of them. Still, he showed off his linguistic prowess by understanding a bit of her message, particularly the part where she said she missed the stage.
DARA: You know, BamBam, I am really happy. I haven't been on stage for a long time and because of you, I'm here. So, thank you.

BamBam and Dara’s friendship is so wholesome, and we can’t thank BamBam enough for giving Blackjacks, especially those in the Philippines, a beautiful memory.
