GOT7’s BamBam Reveals How His Members Reacted To His New Song “riBBon”
GOT7‘s BamBam recently released his first solo mini-album, riBBon, alongside the music video for his title track of the same name. To celebrate, BamBam held an online showcase for fans where he performed some of the tracks from the album, answered questions, and talked through some behind-the-scenes stories.
Although GOT7 chose not to resign with JYP Entertainment earlier in the year, the members are as close as ever by releasing their song “Encore” and supporting each other in their solo activities.
During the showcase, the host explained that the members had been cheering BamBam on through the release and asked him whether they had called to congratulate him, which they had!
BamBam explained that when the members first saw his music video, they phoned him and cheered for him on their social media, saying how good the album is.
After the release of the track, many of the members posted about the song from Jay B to Yugyeom, who is also set to release his mini-album this week!
While discussing the music video for his title track, BamBam explained how he didn’t think he would be able to pull off the bright and cute concept. Yet, like most Ahgases, the other members seemed to agree that BamBam perfectly fitted the concept for the video, even if they were surprised to start with.
