GOT7’s BamBam And NBA Team The Golden State Warriors Are Teasing Their Next Collaboration

GOT7‘s BamBam and the NBA (the National Basketball Association) team, the Golden State Warriors, have become a powerful duo.

It all began on Christmas Day when BamBam tweeted support for Stephen Curry (also known as Steph Curry). BamBam encouraged his followers to vote for Steph in the upcoming NBA All-Star Game.

NBA All-Star Weekend is an annual event hosted by the NBA (the National Basketball Association) in February. It occurs over a three-day event that spans Friday to Sunday, usually around Valentine’s Day. The exhibition features 24 of the league’s star players selected by fans votes, and these top athletes make it to the All-Star Game to compete. So, like we vote for our favorite K-Pop groups and idols during awards season, basketball fans do the same, as you can vote on the official website or even just by tweeting.

Finally, the Golden State Warriors made the relationship with BamBam official. On January 7 (EST), BamBam was officially announced as the team’s Global Ambassador.

From then on, BamBam showed continuous support for the Warriors. As he did for Steph, he tweeted for other players, such as Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Andrew Wiggins.

NBA All-Star Weekend is fast approaching. So, the results have been out which players will be playing at the game, and everyone agrees that Wiggins’ appointment as a starter seems directly correlated to BamBam’s support. And, even Wiggins himself agrees.

With the 2022 All-Star Game nearly here, it’s made fans wonder what’s next for this partnership. It turns out it’s just getting started.

BamBam shared a new video on Twitter, captioned “Year of the Tiger” and “Surprise is coming,” along with hashtags for his single “Slow Mo.” He began the video with a greeting for the Dub Nation.

Dub Nation, what’s up?! It’s your boy, BamBam. And as you can see, I’m wearing the Warriors jersey right now. You know, I’m very excited to be part of the Golden State Warriors family, and I will be carrying out a lot of activities to collaborate with Golden State Warriors.

During the video, he teased an upcoming surprise. He revealed it will be some sort of collaboration, possibly “combining the music with sports.”

The Golden State Warriors then continued to tease too. The team’s official Twitter account quote tweeted BamBam’s original post with a slow-motion video of a dunk, referencing BamBam’s song. They also included a welcoming message in Thai for him!

Most of all, since BamBam promised to “see us soon,” does this mean he’ll be at NBA All-Star Weekend? There’s also a 2022 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game. Perhaps BamBam will be one of the players.
