GOT7’s BamBam Unfollowed Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon Over A Hilarious Reason
In the latest episode of Bam House, his own YouTube show, GOT7 member BamBam revealed why he unfollowed Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, despite being a hardcore fan of hers.
While Taeyeon is a well-respected industry veteran, BamBam’s admiration for her goes well beyond that. The GOT7 singer has always been vocal about how much he loves Taeyeon and even used to attend her fansigns as a young fan! He has also called her his “ideal type” on multiple occasions.
Even during the latest episode of Bam House, where TWICE’s Nayeon appeared as a special guest, BamBam agreed that Taeyeon was her ideal type when Nayeon brought it up. But a staff member immediately pointed out that he had unfollowed the Girls’ Generation member on social media, prodding him to spill the reason.
BamBam then shared his hilarious reasoning, saying, “I wanted to focus on my tour.” He explained that as an ardent fan of Taeyeon, he would spend so much time watching all her social media content that he had to temporarily unfollow her to focus on his own work.
Netizens were extremely amused by his reasoning as they felt it was equivalent to school kids unfollowing their biases on social media during the exam season.
