GOT7 Finally Announces Comeback Date In The Most Iconic Way Possible

It’s their first comeback in nearly 3 years.

Ahgases (also known as iGOT7, GOT7 fans) have been anticipating official news concerning a GOT7 comeback for months, ever since “spoiler king” BamBam claimed the group would have a comeback in 2025. He even claimed the album was already completed, and they were just waiting for members Jay B and Jinyoung to return from the military.

Now, both Jay B and Jinyoung have been discharged from their mandatory service. So, fans have been waiting…

Yet, all the members, even BamBam, have been “hush” about a potential comeback lately. On the other hand, Jinyoung might have accidentally released a spoiler just as soon as he returned. And he did so in English, so there were no misunderstandings.

He, along with Yugyeom, held a live broadcast to celebrate his discharge. Mark Tuan, who joined as a viewer, commented, attempting to do damage control after Jinyoung spoiled their comeback.

Now, both GOT7’s leader, Jay B, and our “spoiler king,” BamBam, have confirmed the comeback and its date!

Jay B recently held his solo concert, [π—§π—”π—£π—˜: π—₯π—˜ π—Ÿπ—’π—”π——] IN SEOUL. His members, Youngjae and Mark, were in attendance and supportedΒ him.

With them present, Jay B announced that GOT7 would be making a comeback in 2025, as Ahgases hoped. He confirmed that the comeback date would be January 20 despite previously teasing February.

BamBam was finally given the “okay” to announce the comeback after months of “silence.” He shared a funny billboard meme edit that read, “GOT7 is coming back on January 20th and everyone needs to know so I bought this billboard.”

BamBam also confessed he “stole” his post. At least he’s honest!

Ahgases love how “organic” GOT7’s comeback is so far. They couldn’t have announced it in a more iconic way. Fans loved that the members announced it themselves rather than through a company statement or press release.

This will be GOT7’s first comeback in nearly three years, after releasing their self-titled album, their first since leaving JYP Entertainment, on May 23, 2022.
