Fan Spends Nearly 80,000 USD On Experience With GOT7’s Jackson Wang
Fans are known to spend big amounts on their favorite stars, but would you spend as much as a fan of GOT7‘s Jackson Wang just did?
One of Jackson’s latest collaborations was with American artist Pharrell Williams’s newest venture Joopiter. According to the website, Joopiter is “a global digital-first auction house and content platform.”

JOOPITER amplifies the provenance of the objects through original editorial and archival imagery, and by bespoke video content that takes viewers deep into the world of auctioned objects and the story that binds them together.

In addition to a unique TEAM WANG collection, Jackson also contributed items to be auctioned off to any collector looking to purchase them. These items included not only stage equipment and pieces from his Magic Man tour, and other iconic personal items…
…but also some of his fencing equipment from before his K-Pop debut.
It is understandable that any fan collector with pockets deep enough would want any of these items, but the most sought after by a stretch was an exclusive music video experience with Jackson. According to the listing, the winner of this item would “join Jackson on an immersive journey into the vibrant world of the filming of his next music video” with behind-the-scenes access as the idol records.
The original estimates for this experience were between 10,000 and 15,000 USD. However, when the bidding completed on June 25, the experience was auctioned off for a whopping $77,500 USD!
The proceeds from this auction will be donated to charity, with just over 210,000 USD being raised across all of the auction items. It seems like it was a win-win situation for everyone involved!
