His first activities since discharge received mixed reactions, though. While Ahgases were happy to have Jay B back, they were disappointed that not everyone could participate in his first live broadcast.

It had been announced previously that Jay B would be joining the b.stage app. Fans must pay a fee to subscribe to receive all benefits.

Ahgases criticized the decision to put Jay B’s first live broadcast since discharge behind a paywall. They thought it wasn’t fair to fans and also wasn’t wise to limit the audience.

Additionally, many fans claimed they would not pay for the subscription as it wasn’t practical for them at this time. They emphasized the importance of paying bills first and foremost.

Some Ahgases defended Jay B and b.stage. They pointed out that you can still join and enjoy some stuff for free. The membership cost is just a one-time payment of $12 USD and lasts for an entire year.

Still, Jay B heard the criticisms and responded. He claimed it wasn’t intentional that it was streamed via a paid platform, so he will do an Instagram Live next so anyone can join.

  • “Remember I wanted to do it on November 1?”
  • “The (insta) live?”
  • “I did it yesterday, but it was on a paid platform, right?”
  • “There should be one done that’s freely available, too.”
  • “No, it’s just that I saw some people upset about it. It wasn’t done on purpose. It’s because of certain circumstances. I hope you can understand.”

Jay B kept his promise. He held an Instagram Live yesterday.

Jay B is also preparing for his solo comeback already. He’s wasting no time!
