GOT7’s Mark Tuan Releases Statement Addressing Disturbing Allegations Against Alleged Staff Member
GOT7‘s Mark Tuan has addressed the allegations against an alleged staff member on his team.
Earlier this week, a man alleged to be Mark’s personal trainer and friend had some shocking allegations made against him. Initially exposed in a post, an anonymous person claimed that the man, identified as Kalvin Phan, a magician, used GOT7 members’ personal content to attempt to “hook up” with women.
Several fans also alleged that Phan attempted to contact them, including minors.
On August 8, Mark Tuan’s official website was updated with a notice regarding the allegations.
The statement addressed the allegations, confirming that his company, DNA Management, was aware of them and addressed Phan as Mark’s former trainer.
Hello, this is DNA.
We’ve been made aware of the recent allegations involving Mark’s former personal trainer.
We would like to clarify that the said individual was not a part of the DNA team. We are committed to addressing this matter in Mark’s best interest and are exploring legal measures to ensure Mark’s safety and privacy.
Mark is always thankful and grateful for all the love and support shown to him. We would like to thank all the fans who have reached out to us and provided us with information. We will continue to do our best to prevent any similar situation from happening in the future.
