GQ Korea Seemingly Reveal BTS’s Plans For The 2023 GRAMMYs, But Not Everyone Is Happy
Since debuting in 2013, BTS has seen their fame and popularity reach a record high, with the members being invited to some of the biggest global events. Ahead of the upcoming GRAMMYs event next month, BTS’s plans for the ceremony might have been revealed.
Over the years, despite not receiving recognition through winning an award, the BTS members have showcased their “Main Event” status at every event they attend, whether it’s on the red carpet or on stage.
Well, it seems like the Korean outlet GQ Korea might have accidentally revealed the group’s plans for the upcoming event. In the original post from the outlet about the GRAMMYs, ARMYs noticed that the post seemed to reveal that BTS’s leader, RM, would be attending the event on behalf of the members.
Although all members cannot participate together due to Jin’s military enlistment issue, currently, RM is planned to attend the awars ceremony as BTS’s representative. You can tune in to the 65th Grammy Awards on Feb 5 at 9am KST.
Although they can’t attend all together due to Jin’s military issue, RM is currently scheduled to attend the award ceremony and represent BTS.

Yet, after the post was initially shared, a netizen noticed that GQ Korea quickly edited the caption of their post, removing any mention of RM.
After the post was shared, netizens explained that they would wait for BTS, HYBE, or BIGHIT MUSIC to announce the group’s plans for the event officially.
Yet, it wasn’t surprising to see many ARMYs in the retweets sharing their apprehension about the possibility of RM attending the show.
For the past few years, ARMYs have raised anger at the treatment of BTS by the GRAMMYs and the number of times the group has been snubbed, whether it was losing out on awards or not even being nominated. Along with the members, stars like DJ TETRIS and Halsey even addressed the group’s treatment.
congrats to the nominees. so much great music nominated this year. definitely see a lot of my friends and colleagues missing from the nom lists, but the music speaks! this is how it goes every year right?
