GroovyRoom Launches New Label In Collaboration With H1GHR MUSIC
The producer duo, GroovyRoom, has recently announced that they are launching a new label called AREA, in partnership with Jay Park’s label, H1GHR MUSIC.
Many fans will probably notice them by their producer tagline, “Groovy Everywhere.” They have produced songs such as “a sOng Of ice&fire” by OnlyOneOf, “Don’t Know You” by Heize, “Just U” by Jeong Sewoon, “Heyahe” by ONE, and “EUNG FREESTYLE” by DPR Live, Punchnello, Owen Ovadoz, Sik-K, and Flowsik.
This also explained why they named their label AREA.
Many people misunderstood the signature sound ‘Groovy Everywhere’ as ‘Groovy Area.’ I hope that it can be a space of envy, with people thinking, ‘I want to work on music in a place like that.’

The first artist signed under their label is GEMINI, who just released “Trip” and “Fake.”. Jay Park collaborated with him for “Trip” as well as GroovyRoom. Korean-Canadian artist Paul Blanco was featured on “Fake.”
On March 5, AREA and H1GHR MUSIC will be dropping a special project with Heron Preston and Dazed Korea. They have teamed up to create a music video for “Trip” and a fashion art film.
It currently appears that they will only be a label for Korean hip-hop and R&B artists, but the future remains to be seen.
