According to the court documents posted by Soojung, she was ostracized by the members after she joined the program Youth Star.

Shortly after these allegations came to surface, multiple Hi-L members took to their social media platforms, refuting them. The group’s leader Leejin initially responded to the claims stating that though their relationship with Soojung was strained, it never escalated to the point of alienation.

Leejin also mentioned an incident where Soojung where she started badmouthing about the Leejin’s personal lives to the company, which caused a huge breach of trust between the two. Though Soojung later admitted her rash behavior, their relationship never repaired despite repeated attempts when Soojung stopped attending rehearsals without any explanation.

Leejin also added that five out of the six Hi-L members were suffering through mental health issues and had sought psychiatric care, and not just Soojung. She refuted the allegations of not sharing schedules with her saying that there were transcripts of the messages through which she shared the group’s schedule with all members, including Soojung.

While Leejin’s post mostly focused on refuting the allegations against her group, the youngest members, Hayun and Yeseul raised counter-allegations against Soojung.

Yeseul claimed that Soojung would always cover her ears when she sang in the pratice room and as a result of this behavior, she started disliking her own voice. She also accused Soojung of giving her trauma to the point where she suffers from hyperventilation, sleep paralysis, and insomnia.

Hayun also levied some serious accusations of being harassed by Soojung on a long-term basis, to the point where she had spend time in the ER.

After these shocking exposés, Leejin made a surprising new post, essentially clearing up the misunderstandings. She explained that all of them got sentimental while responding to Soojung’s claims, which led to contexts being missed out. Leejin stated that Hayun’s relationship with all the group members was strained in the beginning and it took a lot of work for her to be on the same page with the others. But her post only mentioned her problems with Soojung, who she was no longer in contact with.

In terms of Yeseul’s grievance, Leejin explained that Soojung used to cover her ears due to her sensitivity to loud noises and the clear communication that could have addressed this situation effectively was missing between the two.

Soojung concluded her statement by urging the public not to spread any further speculations about the members.
