“‘Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo’ 2.0?” — IU’s Gucci Cruise Show Appearance At Gyungbok Palace Gains Attention
As a Gucci ambassador, IU graced the crowd with an appearance at the Gucci Cruise Show held in South Korea. To honor Korean culture and tradition, the show was held in Gyungbok Palace, with many of the pieces being inspired by traditional Korean clothing elements.
IU herself wore a see-through outfit embroidered with yellow flowers. The flowers evoked oriental elements while her accessories highlighted Korean culture. She had a special norigae charm on her leather bag.

The delicate clips in her hair also added to the overall look which gave a nod to her heritage.
Her makeup was kept simple and pure, with the only color being some coral accents.
She combined modern fashion and Korean culture perfectly.
A true princess!
Netizens were reminded of one of her sageuk dramas — Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. In the drama, she played Hae Soo, a noble-born palace maid who wins the heart of many princes.
