Guitarist Lee Byeong Ho Exposes HOOK Entertainment And Voices His Support For Lee Seung Gi Amid Agency Scandal
Guitarist Lee Byeong Ho, who participated in Lee Seung Gi‘s sixth album, revealed he also wasn’t paid for his work by HOOK Entertainment and publically voiced his support for Lee Seung Gi.
Lee Byeong Ho is an accomplished musician that has worked with some of Korea’s greatest musicians. Through his Instagram, he reveals his closeness with Lee Seung Gi and is often pictured collaborating with the superstar.
The guitarist made the revelation on his Instagram, where he starts by stating how the news of Lee Seung Gi’s feud with his label, HOOK Entertainment, affected him.

Lee Byung Ho then stated that he had also not been paid for his work but that out of respect for Lee Seung Gi, he didn’t want to make it that big of an issue.
I also worked on (Lee Seung Gi’s) sixth album and hadn’t been paid. At the time, my heart was full of sorrow, but due to my affection for Seung Gi, I didn’t want to make it an issue. However, after learning that Lee Seung Gi had cried a lot after learning of this news, I felt horrible and wished I hadn’t said anything.

The musician ended his letter wishing only the best for Lee Seung Gi and expressed his respect for the musician.
I feel like a lot has happened in the past 18 years. I hope Lee Seung Gi isn’t scarred from this incident, and I pray that nothing bad happens to him from now on. As a musician, I am rooting for and praying for Lee Seung Gi, the musician.

Lee Byung Ho’s letter of support comes amid a scandal that has shaken the K-Pop industry. On November 21, media outlet Dispatch released a bombshell exposé where they alleged Lee Seung Gi had never been paid for his musical activities.
