Han Ji Min’s Upcoming K-Drama Hit With Shocking Sexual Harassment Allegations
Actress Han Ji Min‘s new K-Drama is receiving criticism for its premise.
Recently, JTBC released the teaser for Han Ji Min’s new K-Drama Behind Your Touch. The drama is reportedly about a detective teaming up with a psychic veterinarian to solve a murder mystery involving a serial killer.
The trailer, however, immediately has been hit with backlash due to its premise. In the trailer, Han Ji Min is seen touching the behind of various people.
This is because, in the drama, Han Ji Min’s psychic power is only obtainable when her character touches people’s backside.
In addition to the K-Drama’s trailer, Behind Your Touch‘s poster has also come under fire. In the poster, Han Ji Min is seen with her hands out in front of words that read, “My hands are innocent.” This is particularly problematic as the drama seems to make light of sexual harassment.
Netizens expressed confusion and dismay over the K-Drama as well as why the actress would choose to star in it, especially as Han Ji Min is a revered top actress who has every production company at her whim.
