Another “Traumatized” Actress’s Interview About Her Role In Kim Soo Hyun’s Movie Resurfaces

As more suspicions are being raised with Sulli‘s brother openly calling out actor Kim Soo Hyun for the movie Real and how it affected the late idol, an interview from another actress—who also took on a supporting role in the movie—has resurfaced.
In her November 2018 interview, promoting her K-Movie Rampant which came after Real, it was noted that actress Han Ji Eun was one out of 4,300 who auditioned for the role to co-star with Kim Soo Hyun.

According to the interview, Han Ji Eun debated auditioning because it “required” nudity—but she trusted Kim Soo Hyun and tried out for the role.

The actress is said to have struggled with the many sex scenes. While she wanted to get more direction on her role, it was not provided. And when Real premiered, it was evident that the movie kept only her most intimate scenes and scrapped the rest—leaving the actress “frustrated.” The interview read, “Han Ji Eun did not want to regret it, but she did feel traumatized for a while” from the role.

She joined Real through a combination of opportunity and effort. She heard about the audition but hesitated because nudity was a requirement. The only information available was that Kim Soo Hyun was the male lead. She trusted his name. “There must be a reason he chose the movie,” she thought.
She beat the odds, securing the role out of 4,300 audition applicants. She’s the type of person who doesn’t look back on a decision already made. But even so, it wasn’t easy—a drug-fueled sex scene, and then another with Kim Soo Hyun… She wanted to discuss and share her concerns about them, but there was no opportunity. It was frustrating. She tried not to regret it, but she did feel traumatized for a while.
