Actress Han So Hee’s Mother Arrested For Illegal Operation Of Gambling Dens
According to a report on September 2, 2024, by TV Chosun, the police have arrested actress Han So Hee‘s mother on charges of opening illegal gambling dens. It was reported that she had operated a total of 12 gambling dens across Ulsan, Wonju, and more, since 2021. Customers would load their credits onto a gambling site before indulging in games.
Not only was she the mastermind, Han So Hee’s mother had also hired another person to act as the figurehead. She currently has other priors to her name, including scams, fines for illegal gambling, and more. Gambling is highly illegal in South Korea.
Han So Hee has lived with her grandmother since she was 5 years old. Her parents are divorced. Han So Hee rarely has contact with her mother, especially after her high school graduation.
