TvN’s Hotel Del Luna aired in 2019 gaining much success and acclaim. It featured a star-studded cast that only added to its popularity and greatness. This includes IU, Yeo Jin Goo, Block B’s P.O, gugudan’s Mina, Shin Jung Geun, Bae Hae Sun, Lee Do Hyun, and more.
The K-Drama was so popular that it has now been announced that it will be remade as a stage musical in 2022. The musical/concert/theater company, Showplay, will be in charge of production.
The drama had an extremely strong soundtrack, which featured esteemed artists such as Chungha, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, 10cm, Red Velvet, Heize, Gummy, Paul Kim, and more, so fans are curious to see if the music will be able to compare. They are also curious as to how they will interpret the fantasy elements in a theater production.
The musical “is expected to provide fresh fun to the audience with stories that add new creativity to the original story.”
