“Hospital Playlist” Child Actor Shocks K-Drama Fans With Big Boy Transformation
When tvN‘s Hospital Playlist first aired its Season 1 in 2020, child actor Kim Jun stole the spotlight as Lee Woo Joo, actor Jo Jung Suk‘s character’s son.
To the surprise of K-Drama fans who remember him as the adorable 5-year-old boy, Kim showed off his big boy transformation in his latest appearance on actor Kim Kwang Kyu‘s YouTube channel @kkakkabro.
Kim turned 10 years old in May 2024—and while his features hadn’t changed much, Hospital Playlist fans could not get enough of how “all grown up” Kim looked!
- “Wow, he’s all grown up… Still adorable, though!”
- “Aw, how cute! Haha. His voice hasn’t changed at all.”
- “I just got done re-watching Hospital Playlist. Great to know how Jun is doing. So cute!”
- “Wow… All grown up…”
- “Whoa, he’s a big boy now! He’s 10 years old in international age.”
- “Kim Jun is so cute and funny, haha.”
Kim mentioned in the YouTube show that, while he never learned acting, he was the one who wanted to pursue the career.
I wanted to act. My older brother started acting first. And when his director asked me if I would like to audition, I said yes.
— Kim Jun
Kim’s latest work was in 2023, as actor Cha Tae Hyun‘s younger self in the K-Drama Moving. In an adorable message to all directors, Kim promised to become a great actor and hoped to act more soon!
