“Hospital Playlist” Actress Jeon Mi Do Responds To Fan Concerns About Her New Role In “Thirty-Nine”
When Hospital Playlist first aired in 2020, the K-Drama gained tons of fans for its incredible storyline, and equally amazing cast!
Actress Jeon Mi Do played the role of Chae Seong Hwa, a doctor of neurosurgery, and was praised highly for performance in the show!
Jeon Mi Do is also slated to star in another K-Drama on JTBC titled Thirty-Nine, which is a romantic drama about 3 best friends who are navigating life at the age of 39. The actress plays the role of Jung Chan Young, a woman who dreamed of being an actress, but now works as an acting coach instead.
At the press conference for Thirty-Nine, Jeon Mi Do addressed some concerns of fans that she had seen regarding her character in the drama. The concern centered around how she played a doctor in her Hospital Playlist, but will now play a terminally-ill patient in Thirty-Nine, making fans worried about the drastic change in character so soon.
Jeon Mi Do took this time to assure fans that they have nothing to worry about, and that she will do her best to show different sides of herself to them in the future as well!
I am aware of some drama fans’ concerns about me, because of the performances as a doctor in my previous work. By becoming a terminally ill patient, my character drastically changed in Thirty-Nine.
I am certain that different sides will be presented and hope the viewers show love and support just like they did in Hospital Playlist.
