Huddy Reveals His BTS Bias, But He Struggles To Pick Just One
American musician and social media personality Huddy (also known as Chase Hudson) talked about his love for BTS and even revealed his biases in a recent interview with Zach Sang.
While Huddy is a famous music artist today, Huddy is also well known for co-founding the TikTok collective the Hype House and popularizing the e-boy fashion style and subculture across the video-sharing app.
What some may not realize is that Huddy is also a K-Pop fan. He especially likes BTS.

He’s even attended BTS concerts, namely Love Yourself: Speak Yourself stadium tour at The Rose Bowl in 2019.
Now, he is finally revealing his BTS bias!
Of course, when two K-Pop fans get together, they can’t not talk about their biases! So, when Huddy guested on the Zach Sang Show, the two talked about their mutual love for BTS.
Zach Sang: I love this. This makes me so happy. You’re a BTS fan.
Huddy: Oh, yeah. I’m a huge BTS fan.
One of Huddy’s favorite songs is “So What.” Still, he is obsessed with many of BTS’s songs.
Zach Sang: You listen to one of their records over and over and over again.
Huddy: Which one was it?
Zach Sang: I was just listening to it. I know you’ve seen them live a bunch of times. What is the record? It’s in my notes… Where did it go?
Huddy: There’s a lot of records that I love by them.
Zach Sang: But what was your first introduction to them?
Huddy: My first introduction to them was…
Zach Sang: “So What!”
Huddy: “So What” was the record. “So What,” great song.
Zach Sang: So good.
Huddy also revealed that the React YouTube channel was his introduction to BTS. Since then, he has been hooked.
I was introduced to them by the Kids React to… this person channel. So, those like kids or teenagers or somebody reacting to BTS, and I was like, ‘This is the coolest music video I’ve ever f*cking seen,’ and that was how I was introduced. I just started watching the music videos over and over again…
— Huddy
Huddy continued to explain why he loves BTS’s music videos. It led him to proclaim his love and respect for K-Pop as a whole.
They have a completely different world when it comes to music videos, and it’s so thought through and perfect everything from down to the hair, the style, … everything … matches the song. They embody whatever song that they’re putting out, and I’ve noticed that with a lot of K-Pop groups, and I think that’s genius like what the K-Pop world does for music is genius, and I think a lot more people should be paying attention.
— Huddy
Zach Sang couldn’t agree more. He emphasized that not only are BTS’s visuals next level but so are their lyrics.
You are preaching to the choir, but you’re also 100% accurate. Their aesthetic is incredible, but the lyrical integrity that exists in BTS’s songs like early, early, early BTS stuff they were touching on things that were so relevant in people’s lives like being overworked at school and being bullied and being made to feel like a recluse like they were really addressing topics that nobody else was addressing dressed up in this aesthetic that was so really different and… God, they’re incredible. I love them so much. I love BTS.
— Zach Sang
Huddy was also asked about his experience at BTS’s show at the Rose Bowl. He said no concert has been able to match it.
I went to the Rose Bowl show. It was 2019. That was a really great concert … I don’t think anything I have experienced in my life has lived up to that concert like they really put on a f*cking show.
— Huddy
Zach Sang revealed that he was actually at the same concert. Huddy was so shocked!
Zach Sang: I was at the same show!
Huddy: You were there?!
Zach Sang: Yeah, they’re so good.
Huddy: It’s insane. The fireworks, like the water cannons like they had a bouncing castle blow up within 30 seconds. I was losing mind. I was like this is f*cking sick. You were the same time?!
To shock Huddy even more, Zach Sang told him that BTS had been on his show several times.
Zach Sang: I love them. They’ve been on our show. I mean I don’t know how many times. Maybe 8 times.
Huddy: What?!
Zach Sang: 6 times?
Huddy: That’s awesome.
Finally, the most important question arose. Who is Huddy’s bias?
Yeah, they’re great. We love… I love them, and I… Do you have a bias?
— Zach Sang
Huddy revealed that he has never been able to pick just one. Instead, it has always been the soulmates V and Jimin!
Huddy: I always had two biases. It’s V and Jimin.
Zach Sang: Wow. Taste.
Even then, Huddy said he does truly love all seven members. They all are unique.
I f*cking love them! I love all of them, to be honest like I think they’re dope, swaggy, in all of their own individual ways.
— Huddy
Zach Sang proclaimed his own bias to be Jungkook. This sparked Huddy to sing the maknae‘s praises.
Zach Sang: Jungkook. I love him.
Huddy: They’re all so good. Jungkook’s great. Jungkook’s really like amazing, especially when it comes to like… I see like photos of them for like covershoots and stuff. Jungkook kills it. He’s f*cking … good, bro. Like they’re incredible models.
Of course, Zach Sang had to promote BTS’s latest projects. He encouraged Huddy to check out their reality show In the SOOP.
Zach Sang: It’s really cool. It’s like just them living in a house and like doing things.
Huddy: Oh my gosh. Is it like…
Zach Sang: I think you’re going to be addicted to it, to be honest.
Huddy: Is it past or present?
Zach Sang: It is a combination of both. You can get old episodes, but it is very much present.
We love to see fanboys connecting!
