Soccer Player Hwang Ui Jo Further Implicated In Sex-Tape Scandal As Ex-Girlfriend Submits Damning Call Logs To The Court
National soccer player Hwang Ui Jo has recently been surrounded by controversy. His sex-tapes had been leaked in May 2023, leading him to convince his ex-girlfriend, who was also in the tapes, to sue the person who leaked the video. It was belatedly reported that Hwang had been facing blackmail by the person who leaked the videos. Hwang also claimed that the videos were filmed with consent. On the other hand, his ex-girlfriend has denied any consent.
The case continued when Hwang’s legal representative stated on November 22, 2023, that the ex knew of the videos’ existences. As she had asked him to delete the videos, it proved that she knew the videos existed, therefore he argued that it could not be termed as a “hidden camera.”
On November 23, 2023, the ex-girlfriend’s legal representative made a rebuttal, stating that it was still illegal, and that the ex had never agreed to film anything. Right after she realized that she had been filmed, she had asked him to delete the videos. However, he continued to film her illegally. They revealed a phone call between Hwang Ui Jo and his ex.
The log was submitted to court. The call log proved that the ex had asked Hwang to delete the videos several times. The call had taken place right after she found out about the video leak.
I told you clearly that I didn’t like it. I already said that I didn’t like it, so why do you still have the videos? You also have to admit that you (Hwang) acted illegally.

Hwang then tried to coax the ex by telling her that he would try his best to stop the leaks. Hwang continues to argue through his legal representative that he had positioned the phone in a visible place during the filming and had discussed the matter with his ex then.
