On May 31, ADOR held its shareholder meeting. During the meeting, HYBE used its voting rights to fire deputy CEO Shin and Director Kim, both of whom were close aides to Min Hee Jin.
HYBE replaced the two ADOR executives with HYBE executives, Chief Human Resources Officer Kim Ju Young, Chief Strategy Officer Lee Jae Seong, and Chief Financial Officer Lee Kyung Jun.
Netizens reacted to the move, with many criticizing HYBE. Netizens called HYBE by its new nickname. CHUYBE (Choo-IBE) which is combination of word Pathetic (Choohae) + HYBE.
