It was previously reported by Channel A that staff from ADOR had given a tip-off about the treatment they had been receiving from HYBE. According to them, after NewJeans announced their termination from the company, staff such as managers and performance directors continued to help the girls with their remaining schedules. These schedules were from their time in ADOR. ADOR had, in turn, allegedly bullied these staff members.

They bothered the performance director and other staff with unnecessary, frequent meetings, and bullied them. They asked the managers for their personal phones. They even forced them to stay in the office for more than three hours, not allowing them to go home.

Netizens reacted harshly, calling HYBE out for their behavior. This can be considered workplace bullying and harassment, with many netizens naming it as illegal.
