HYBE Didn’t Care About BTS Jungkook’s Unexpected Live Broadcast… But Someone Else Did

He explained the consequences of the last livestream.

On February 3, KST, BTS member Jungkook surprised ARMYs with a spontaneous livestream where he ate some chicken and enjoyed watching Physical 100 on Netflix. Since this was his second time going live within a span of two days, fans were overjoyed, to say the least.

Before doing the actual stream, Jungkook turned on Weverse live for a few minutes to let ARMYs know that he would be doing a mukbang once his chicken arrived. During the brief live, he interacted with fans a bit and answered some questions posted in the comments. Since during his previous livestream, Jungkook had told ARMYs that he was doing it without his label’s permission, many were curious to know if it got him into trouble later.

Jungkook read a comment that asked if he got scolded by the company for doing the livestream on February 2 without informing them. The singer answered that he has been an idol for a long time, so it’s unlikely that situations like these would cause any negative consequences for him.

Though the label didn’t have anything to say in the matter, Jungkook’s hyungs sort of did. The maknae shared that after his livestream, his older members texted in the BTS group chat, advising him against doing streams while drinking alcohol. He then jokingly said that he is a man who doesn’t give up easily, while picking up the beer pint in his hand again.

Jungkook added that drinking is one of the joys of his life, and he is not overdoing it, so it should be okay.

ARMYs found this little act of rebellion very characteristic of Jungkook, something that even his older members have endearingly talked about before.

One can’t help but say Jin raised a fighter, not a quitter!
