Netizens Raise Anger At HYBE After Claiming That The Company Has Disrespected ENHYPEN
Netizens have always praised the friendship between the various HYBE artists because, despite many being under different sub-labels, they always have the best interactions.
HYBE has come under fire from netizens after they allegedly disrespected ENHYPEN in a news article about the company’s artists.
On January 30, HYBE shared an article posted about the company’s artists. The article released has a huge image of three of HYBE’s groups, TXT, LE SSERAFIM, and NewJeans.
Although several HYBE artists are missing out from the main image, they are included in the first paragraph of the article. Along with mentioning some of the label’s established stars like BTS, SEVENTEEN, and Zico, they mentioned TXT, NewJeans, and LE SSERAFIM as those groups on the rise.
HYBE’s artists have taken over the music and album market with terrifying momentum. While top artists like BTS, SEVENTEEN, Zico, and more are continuing to steadily lead the music market, they’re reorganizing the 2023 K-Pop market through the continued rise of LE SSERAFIM, NewJeans, TXT, and more.

The majority of the article focused on the achievements of the fourth-generation groups from the company, but netizens noticed one group missing, and it was ENHYPEN.
Like NewJeans with ADOR and LE SSERAFIM with Source Music, ENHYPEN is signed to HYBE’s sublabel BELIFT LAB. In their photos and content, the watermarks show BELIFT LAB but they are still counted as a HYBE artist and have shown huge success since their debut.
Although the article was written by a Korean media outlet, it would’ve been approved by HYBE, especially after the HYBE official account shared the article on Twitter.

It meant that when netizens and ENGENEs saw that ENHYPEN was not mentioned in the article, they raised anger at the company. They shared disappointment that HYBE was ignoring some of ENHYPEN’s huge accomplishments over the past year.
And people say that ENHYPEN has hybe privilege, where? They can't even mention them on their articles don't recognize their achievements.
