HYBE Founder Bang Si Hyuk Reportedly Directly Involved In Orders For Controversial Internal Documents

He was also partially responsible.

It was reported by Ilgan Sports on October 29, 2024, that HYBE’s founder Bang Si Hyuk was directly involved in the controversial internal reports that were recently made public through the company’s audit.

While HYBE’s CEO Lee Jae Sang has previously already apologized for the documents and taken responsibility, it was found that Bang Si Hyuk himself had been involved directly in the sending of the documents to C-level executives in the company.

It was said that when the document was being shared internally, Bang Si Hyuk had ordered it to be sent to a new executive who had just joined the company. It remains yet to be confirmed if Bang Si Hyuk had been the one to order the creation of the report in initial stages. Korean media outlets have investigated that he was involved in sharing the contents of the report, despite being aware of its highly provocative nature.
