HYBE founder Bang Si Hyuk was recently caught in controversy after he was photographed with racy streamers on the streets of Los Angeles.
A street videographer had coincidentally caught them crossing the road in Beverly Hills. Their meeting became a hot topic as the girls identified are known to accept monetary support from viewers in exchange for requests. One of the girls, Juice Seyeon, held a live stream on August 11, 2024, where she addressed the matter.

She clarified that her older sister knew Bang Si Hyuk, though she didn’t explain how. In 2023, Juice Seyeon received a suspicious message from someone claiming to be from HYBE. She sought her sister’s help, who confirmed it was a scam through her connection with Bang Si Hyuk. Ultimately, the scammer was imprisoned. As for accusations about dining with him in Los Angeles, Bang Si Hyuk had suggested a restaurant to Juice Seyeon and her sister. She was unable to make a reservation on short notice, but they could go if they accompanied him, thanks to his clout. As the girls really wanted to eat there, the three ended up dining together.
In response to her clarification, netizens remained unable to believe her. Although it matches up with HYBE’s previous statement about the matter, netizens wondered if there was more to the story. After all, as a busy businessman, there was no reason why Bang Si Hyuk would dine with streamers that he was not particularly close to.
